VG35 BASE BINDER GREEN, 45G A durable basewax for all hard waxes in colder conditions than -1°C (30°F). To be used when the snow has been transformed (granular) and the wear on the wax is high. Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.

VG30 BASE WAX, BLUE, 43G To be used as first layer for all hard waxes in new fallen snow, transformed fine grained snow and old snow from +1°C to -20°C (30°F to -4°F). Rub on and iron in with a waxing iron (110°C/230°F). Cork smooth. Base wax is much easier to apply when it is cold. Store it in the fridge or in the snow before application.

The Swix Wild Boar Brush is an important brush for any racer using Cera F Wax. The Wild Boar Brush is recommended for use as the second brush for Cera F wax applications. The Wild Boar can be used in place of a Horsehair brush, and run 5 to 10 strokes tip to tail after running the Stiff Black Nylon Brush. Because of the differences in wax properties it is highly recommended that brushes used for Cera F are kept as strictly Cera F brushes. CH03X is a special synthetic hydrocarbon powder wax to add to other waxes to increase their durability and to protect the base from ice abrasion. For especially abrasive snow, such as newly man-made snow, apply the wax of choice and then iron. While the wax is still in liquid form, or at least still warm, sprinkle CH03X over the wax. Even a generous amount will not effect glide. Then iron the CH03X powder into the wax layer. Allow cooling, then scrape and brush away the excess. PS6 has a good durability and offers great performance on natural and artificial snow. The speed of the iron should be approx. 8-10 sec. on a skating or alpine ski. The wax can be re-heated after cooling to room temperature (10 min) for better durability. Important to have a good iron to get an efficient melting of the wax.
