Salomon's latest racing binding is made for the PSP plate skis found only on Salomon and Atomic skis. It features a system that allows the position to be adjusted by lifting the binding's engagement cover. The adjustment knob simply needs to be pushed to the side to release the binding. Once the fastener has been moved, simply close the cover, which automatically locks the knob. This type of system is becoming more and more common for the classic, the only small flaw being that you have to take your shoes off to operate it. This type of system allows you to adjust the position of the binding, and thus gain grip or glide. Move the binding forward to put more weight on the holding area (skin, scales or wax chamber); move it back to unload the holding area and gain glide. As for the rest, we're technically on the same wavelength as other Prolink bindings, with a lightweight interface that ensures optimum proximity to the ski, and the two Prolink guide rails that ensure lateral stability of the boot when the ski is put down. A high-end binding with a very useful system that allows you to change the ski's behavior at will.
